Acacia Salicina

Acacia salicina, also known as willow acacia, is best known for its graceful, weeping appearance. Other than its beauty, here are some of its advantages:

  1. Because it tends to be tall and narrow (if not, it can easily be pruned that way), it is frequently planted in narrow areas such as patios, parking lots, and small parks.

  2. Acacia salicinas near high foot traffic delight visitors with its pleasant and sweet aroma when in bloom.

  3. And finally, as an acacia, it performs remarkably well in the hot and dry Coachella Valley climate.

Botanical name: Acacia salicina

Other names: Acacia cyanophylla, broughton willow, weeping wattle, willow acacia
