TABLE OF CONTENTS

Agave Weberi Appearance

Agave weberi is a medium to large agave that grows to 6 feet tall and 8 feet wide. This is a slow-growing agave, with leaves that grow in a rosette shape, gradually getting larger and longer over time.

Tall, wavy, and succulent leaves look like flames. The leaves are gray-green. They have serrated edges along the margins and terminal spines.

Towards the end of its life, the agave will grow a tall flower spike that can reach 20 feet tall. The spike will be covered in bright yellow flowers.

Agave Weberi Landscaping Tips

Agave weberi is cold-hardy compared to most agaves.

Looks elegant and tidy in pots. We recommend unglazed terracotta pots to prevent root rot.

Prune off old, spent leaves to create a tidy look and/or to expose a short trunk.

Agave weberi grows offsets from the base of the plant, allowing for easy propagation.

Water: Occasional, deep watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Either use a moisture meter or stick your finger through the soil to gauge the moisture level. It’s better to err on the side of underwatering than overwatering.
